The Truth Behind The Network Marketing Industry

The Multi Level Marketing (MLM) Industry popularly known as the Network Marketing industry, is indeed a very simple and profitable industry but sadly with a lot of negative feedback. The truth is that you can make a lot of money in the MLM industry. A lot of ordinary people have built businesses that provide passive income streams for them and their families and friends, who are in their network for life! The beauty about having a business that provide passive income streams is that you can get to enjoy life doing whatever you want or decide. All that is required is a few years of smart and dedicated work. Today though, this has been made a lot easier as some MLM companies have gone online. There is an MLM company today that operates entirely on an e-commerce platform! This means that you can reach more people using your website or social media to sell almost any product and to anyone anywhere in the world. The network marketing industry is a $167 billion industry churning out millions having huge passive income streams.

I am a partner with one MLM firm that is a 100% e-commerce based here in Nigeria. This means that I can actually do the business from home. With proper application of e-commerce concepts, you can indeed earn a stream of passive incomes for life! This is however not a get-rich-quick scheme. Success in the MLM industry entails following a set of professional guidelines and being consistent. Many people in the MLM industry fail to apply basic guidelines needed to start and grow their own MLM business. Many fail to realize that their MLM business should be handled as a real business where you will be required to recruit a team of people that believe in your mission and vision.

The network marketing industry is a 167 billion Dollar industry and about 91 million people are involved in the network marketing industry around the world today. The industry is now booming in the rest of the world because it is almost the only recession proof industry! During the economic recession that occurred in the world in 2008 and 2009 and the one before that in 1998, it was the only Industry that was growing. While other industries like the automobile and financial industries were either collapsing, downsizing on the number of employees or cutting down salaries, the network marketing industry was getting larger. This is why a lot of people have shifted to Network Marketing.

Even great men and thinkers are beginning to endorse the MLM business model. Bill Gates has been quoted saying that if he had another chance to start up, Microsoft would have adopted the network marketing model. Little wonder the Network marketing Industry continues to grow at an unexpected rate. This is especially true in the United States that recorded a growth from $13 billion in 1992 to over $132 billion in 2010; more than 82 million new people have joined the Network Marketing Industry in the past 20 years! In fact, it is now estimated that over 15,800,000 distributors in the United States alone now participate, full- or part-time, in Network Marketing-and these numbers continue to grow.

After 20 year, the Network Marketing Industry still fits today’s hot trends-home-based businesses, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance-and in Nigeria, the growth is beginning to catch up with the rest of the world. Matt Lloyd and MyTopTierBusiness

Matt Lloyd is the “master mind” behind the MOBE (My Online Business Empire), IM Revolution and several other online offers.

Of course, all the “reviews” of the product are Affiliates trying to sell it.

I’m not, so I will give you an honest opinion.

Matt Lloyd, unlike most of the “gurus” out there, has had some success online and claims to make hundreds of thousands a MONTH with his methods and also promises to “reveal” these methods to you, but for a HEFTY price.

Matt Lloyd does have some good information and a lot of it, of course depending on what level you choose to participate. His “My Online Business Empire” program ranges from around $500 all the way up to $20,000!

Now, I have been doing online marketing for about 15 years, full time, and I have seen HUNDREDS of programs online that make the same type of promises, most of which are hogwash, and they all seem to be centered around affiliate marketing.

Obviously, you have to sell something and most folks don’t have a product laying around that they want to sell, so… as far as M.O.B.E is concerned, the course itself is what you will be selling.

That means that YOU will be out there competing with others who have forked over, perhaps $20 Grand, and who are willing to spend a lot to make that back.

In terms of information, again, depending on the level you join, there is so MUCH that it will take you a LONG time to go through it, much less implement it.

Matt Lloyd’s program is based on the “funded proposal” which has made some people a lot of money, will it for you? MAYBE, if you have the money and the time to spend doing it. He shows you A LOT of things that you will be buying, lesson after lesson, which will take you TONS of time, so this isn’t making money in a couple of days. That is not to say that you will never make money if you put in the WORK.

Jonathan Budd, a guy that upsells, upsells, upsells, endorses this and Matt is supposed to be one of his top students, so guess what? Matt Lloyd will do the same.

This introductory video is VERY long and is trying hard to convince you. THAT is a sign of more expenditures to come. Will you get a lot of good information, which if you could REALLY implement it you might make some money? Yes. However, know this: There are thousands and thousands and thousands of people trying to make money with Jonathan Budd’s methods, some do, the majority do not.

I am not a member of M.O.B.E., but a VERY good friend of mine is and he is also a very experienced, hard working marketer and he has made a little money with it, but honestly, nothing close to what he spent.

Don’t Dream MLM, Live It

You may have been looking at various MLM ventures and want to join one, but there seems to be something bugging you. The nag is at the back of your mind and you cannot seem to shake it. You have worries and fears about joining a business that seems to have an equal amount of fans and enemies. The fears and the constant nagging of negativism can only hold you back so far. There are too many what if’s involved and why miss something that you want to do. It makes little sense to give in to the naysayers. You have done the research, spent the time chatting and emailing various recruiters. Now you cannot decide what to do and here you are, looking for more advice.

Overcome the Fears of MLM

You may have a certain level of fear that is hampering you from joining an MLM opportunity. It is OK to have a certain natural resistance to something new. Life is about change and change can scare the beans out of most people. While it can be difficult to take a step forward, if we do not, we may never truly fly. How much do you want a better life? A life that is open and free to your own interpretation and not to others. Overcome the fear and jump into the sky. Your chute will open; you are not alone on this path. Others want a better situation, a future free from oppression. “De Oppresso Liber” or “To Free the Oppressed” comes from the U.S Green Berets. Liberate yourself from a dull life, take that step forward or be left behind.

Find the Right MLM Opportunity

If you have decided to move forward, congratulations are in order. If not, the rest of this post is not for you. Now there are plenty of MLM opportunities on the internet that are solid and good, but only one may be the right fit. You will have to narrow down the prospects carefully, create a list of what you want and a list that you do not want from an opportunity. This will help you find the right ones to pursue.

Living an MLM Life

After signing up and completing training, you are free to live a full and enriching MLM life. While the journey may have been rough to get here, it is still easier than becoming a Green Beret.
